Responsibilities
- Design and build prototype and testing facilities from scratch.
- Conduct instrumentation, data acquisition, and processing for hardware/model validation.
- Develop detailed and reduced order thermal models for hardware optimization.
- Analyze and study thermal performance and vehicle diagnostics.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers on various projects.
- Participate in projects critical to the team’s success.
- Gain mentorship and training to enhance technical and professional skills.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
- Proven experience in prototyping, testing, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with developing numerical models and experimental characterization of thermal systems.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
