Responsibilities

  • Work on the design, release, and launch of seat belt system components.
  • Collaborate with various vehicle design teams including interiors, body, firmware, and manufacturing.
  • Involve in the full design cycle of high-volume seat belt components, including conceptualization and detailed CAD design.
  • Support the design and implementation of passive safety systems in new vehicles.
  • Conduct testing and R&D projects related to safety systems.
  • Utilize data acquisition equipment and perform data analysis.
  • Participate in hands-on prototyping projects and electro-mechanical system integration tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with CAD software (3Dx or Catia V5) and basic coding (e.g., Arduino).
  • Prior internship or work experience with product design and/or automotive engineering.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and material selection.
  • Previous hands-on experience with tools and machine shop equipment.
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing, including GD&T and dimensional engineering.
