Responsibilities
- Write detailed engineering basis of design or scopes of work for outside EPC firms.
- Develop initial engineered equipment specifications for budgetary quotes and final specifications for procurement.
- Review vendor shop drawings and provide consolidated comments against engineered equipment specifications.
- Attend factory acceptance tests for engineered equipment to verify compliance with specifications.
- Build and maintain models for power systems and generate related analyses (arc flash, short circuit, load flow).
- Specify protective relay schemes and hardware for project designs.
- Create detailed engineering design packages, including onelines, schematics, and equipment layout drawings.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in power engineering.
- Proficiency in using SKM, eTAP, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Good communication skills for interfacing with engineers, vendors, and installation teams.
