Responsibilities
- Design detailed electrical systems for power distribution, lighting, and emergency generators.
- Provide troubleshooting support for existing electrical equipment and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis and evaluate electrical equipment.
- Ensure compatibility of electrical systems with mechanical systems and facility power budgets.
- Coordinate electrical installations with local utility personnel.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Perform code reviews utilizing various NFPA standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical projects and power distribution systems.
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in a similar role and a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Proficiency in reading power and control schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and medium voltage distribution.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.
