Responsibilities
- Integrate and commission electromechanical systems using various tools and equipment.
- Build electrical control panels to NFPA 79 & UL 508A standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with engineering for design feedback and process improvements.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering sketches.
- Install and modify electrical enclosures and conveyances.
- Fabricate and repair cable harnesses including crimping and soldering.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 4+ years of experience working with electrical systems.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79 & UL508A codes.
- Understanding of electrical fundamentals like Ohm's and Kirchhoff's laws.
- Operational knowledge of multimeters and various electrical tools.
- Experience in building testing racks and fabrication of mounting plates.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently problem-solve.
