Responsibilities

  • Support the design and analysis of engine system hardware for the Neutron team.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve engineering challenges.
  • Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors to facilitate learning and provide progress updates.
  • Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
  • Contribute to the development projects related to rocket propulsion.
  • Assist in setting up launch pads and test sites.
  • Engage in hands-on testing of engine components.

Job Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
  • Strong interest in propulsion and rocket systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD and engineering software (Siemens NX, ANSYS) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer is a plus.
