Responsibilities
- Own NPI deliverables related to product BOMs, procedures, tooling, and fixtures.
- Lead multi-functional teams to meet project milestones and requirements.
- Participate in the design and development process, proposing new ideas and improvements.
- Coordinate prototype material, build, align, and test opto-mechanical, mechanical, and electrical assemblies.
- Generate and release the product Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist in creating assembly procedures.
- Drive the development of tooling and packaging for assembly and shipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with new designs and prototypes in a cleanroom environment.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Optical, Electrical, or Manufacturing) or Physics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and project management thinking.
- Experience with building and aligning opto-mechanical systems is desirable.
- Familiarity with Semiconductor Capital Equipment is a plus.
- Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably ProE/CREO, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
- Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and coordinating with a global team.
