Responsibilities
- Define fluids component requirements that meet system needs and negotiate interfaces.
- Generate and present component details in vehicle design reviews and integration forums.
- Generate and release engineering drawings.
- Work with supplier teams to identify and procure materials and components.
- Finalize design, build, test, and deliver components to the vehicle.
- Generate test and analysis reports and provide complete component verification products.
- Conduct first-order analyses of potential in-house and vendor designs.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace propulsion and fluid analysis and piping design.
- Knowledge of propulsion and fluid system components.
- Experience with structural and fluid design and analysis of piping and tubing systems.
- Proficiency in using analysis tools such as ANSYS, Thermal Desktop.
- Experience interpreting and generating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Familiarity with ProEngineer/Creo for creating fabrication and installation drawings.
